SILENCE IN THE CITY - AUCKLAND

JO HAYES is delighted to host a silent retreat, for women, in the Diocese of Auckland, New Zealand - in collaboration with the Discalced Carmelite nuns.

'SILENCE IN THE CITY - AUCKLAND' will focus on the what/why/how of Sacred Silence - the secret place of intimate union with God.

The retreat will include Adoration, Liturgy of the Hours & Lectio Divina.

'Come away by yourself (in solitude and silence), and rest awhile' - Jesus (Mark 6:31).

The Sacred Scriptures exhort all members of the Christian faithful to regularly take time away from the hustle, bustle and noise, to enter into the secret place of Sacred Silence with God.
